History:---divorced 1/04--MA State
Pay child support , health insurance and have eow and Tuesday nights.

I am getting a new job that will take me out of town 4 days a
week...so I am going have to miss my Tuesday nights with
the children.

1. Do you believe that I would be able to switch my Tuesday
nights to Friday night so I don't miss any time with children?

2. What would I have to do to request this?

I don't read tea leaves, but as you're not asking for more custody, just a different day, I think your chances would be pretty good. You must attempt to negotiate this with the other parent, so write a certified letter requesting a stipulated order modifying the existing parenting schedule.

Then, if you get a negative response, or no response, you can use the letter to show that the other parent is not acting in the child(ren)'s best interests, and THAT would show the necessary change in circumstances, to force the court to address the issue.
