How do you discredit an evaluator you chose?

In NY, BM's lawyer requested a neutral forensics evaluation in court in February.  He requested the particular evaluator which was then agreed to by all parties.  I have proof of this in the transcript.
He told the judge he would file the order which he never did and then DH's lawyer brought it up in court in June and filed it.

The report came back competely in DH's favor, stating the children were coerced and BM was deceitful on the testings and throughout the evaluation.  It also state BM and SF were severely psychologically unstable, i.e., sociopathic, etc. etc. etc. and full sole custody be given to DH who is not OCD and BM claims but suffers extreme anxiety

The trial begins next week and now BM's lawyer is bringing in an expert to discredit this report.

1.  Will the judge allow this?

2.  If so, why?

I have the same thing happening in my case.  The report came back against the other parent and now the other side wants to try and discredit the evaluator.

Here is what my lawyer told me.  The other side has a right to a full hearing and bring any witness forward to discredit the report.

My trial was also supposed to start next week, but the judge has got herself into an accident and now we are looking at March for the first availble time.  I am so upset about this lapse in time, but what can you do?

Don't worry too much. Let the report stand on it's own.

Sorry to hear about that ridiculously long delay.

We begin trial tomorrow and we're told the 2nd day will take place 2-3 weeks from then.  This petition was filed last october and each time it gets adjorned BM does something else, i.e., move a 6th time, deny visitation, etc.  by the time we get court it's old news.

Well, we will se what happens tomorrow.

Good luck
