Stressin Out

Okay, I have my documentation ready yet my funds are low.

I just had a visit w/ an attorney yesterday who basically told me that he doesn't have the time to help me..crazy huh..but I didn't have to pay for the visit either.

I'm in Virginia, Norfolk to be exact.

Not new to the message board but for those that do not know my story, I'm having MAJOR visitation / BM interfers w/ the communication between me and my two sons (5 and 6 y/o) issues and I can't do anything about it unless I'm in front of a judge.

HELP ... I need a good recommendation for my area...

you need to find an attorney who's certified in family law.  we did this with our last attorney, after 2 others, and I can't even begin to tell you what a difference it made.  he's done more in one motion for us than the other two.  we had major problems with visitations also and this guy put a kabosh to it.

go to this page and type in your state's initials only, it'll give you everyone in your state.

I would just like to say "Welcome"

I have a friend in Norfolk, but I don't have any attorney referrals.

However, when selecting an attorney it is always best to:
1) make sure they are Family Law Board Certified
2) go watch the attorney in action, go to the courthouse and watch him during a hearing etc.
3) remember the attorney works for YOU and always remember that.

Best of luck to you, it's a long a hard road, but you have come to the right place.

You also might want to try:

I have heard that Mary Commander of Commander & Carlson, 5442 Tidewater Drive is pretty good. Personally, if we had to do it over again, spend a little change, meet with several then go with the biggest baddest bulldog of them all.

Good Luck!

Do a search on Criminal Interference of Visitation. See if anything comes up for your State.

Someone posted on another board that you can also call the FBI in your area.

Do you have CO on visitation?
