I am a new user so, i figured I would post here first.

I have 2 children from previous marriage and agreed to joint custody with no child support.  I firmly believe that it is in my daughters' best interests to know and have as much of a relationship with their father as with me.  Things were a bit rocky in the beginning, but I have been very lucky that, the majority of the time, we are able to have good communication and work out any issues for the childrens' sake.  My husband is not so lucky.  I have recently become aware of Father's Rights groups, but have been unable to find any in Arkansas.  I would like to find information on how to start a local chapter or organization to help people like my husband who are over a barrel.  Especially around here where "children belong with their mothers" is it. almost no exceptions.  If anyone has any information, please let me know.
Thanks!

Brent

Check out the following groups:

http://www.peak.org/~jedwards/DADS.html
http://www.acfc.org/

I believe both of them have chapters for each State. Also check the links page here (http://deltabravo.net/custody/links.htm).

Good Luck!!

Thanks.  ACFC does not have a chapter anywhere nearby here, so I contacted them to find out how to start one.  Hopefully I can get one going here.

Good luck, it is like that is most states. I like the new state we live in, the courts are actually BIG BIG on FAMILY, actually the entire community here is.

But is not so in the state we moved from they were for Woman as well.
