           I've been married now for 2 1/2 months to a woman who has not been diagnosed as a BPD, but has all the classic traits of one who has BPD. She has been seeing a Psycharatrist for PTSD and depression. She is pregnant now and we are expecting in January. She has been unbearable most of the time and talks about divorce a lot too. My question is what can I do to gain custody of this child when born? I've learned lately that she was a nude dancer, is in a porn video, has had 4 abortions in the past, has been sexally abused in her childhood, has taken many different types of narcotic drugs (Illegal), has had a DUI and many other traffic citations and has been to court over failing to pay rent, ect. Can anyone tell me if the video's and porn pic's will help me with my custody case? Most of this stuff I learned after we married. She is almost impossible to live with. Can anyone relate here?

You'll have an uphill battle.

My ex became a stripper, suspected prostitute, international child abductor, and still got shared custody.
As long as she doesn't take drugs while pregnant or in fornt of the future child, then nobody will care.
Nobody will care about the porn pics and videos. But you can email them to me... JUST KIDDING!!!

Now for the good news;
It is virtually impossible to file for custody while the child is unborn. You need to wait until the child is born. Then you file for custody. If you can show imminent danger to the child, you may even get an emergency hearing.
During the preliminary hearing you ask for a custody evaluation by a psychiatrist. DO NOT SETTLE FOR A GUARDIAN AD LITUM OR PSYCHOLOGIST. NOR FOR HER CURRENT PSYCHIATRIST.

But, in the meantime, there is a lot you can do.
Start saving money in a bank safe, because you're going to need lots of it.
Apply for a credit card, and don't use it. Keep a suitcase with enough clothes for a few days at a safe place.
Start documenting everything she does that is bad parenting. Keep it factual, no emotions.
Stay away from drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and other women. Be the most perfect person that you can be. Do not change jobs. DO NOT MOVE OUT.
Show stability.
