Temporary Verdict IN!

Here's a quick recap...

After the 14th day of our custrody trial 2 weeks ago, SF sent us an email stating we should call him as a witness, he is divorcing BM and he wants to talk.  The next morning BM had SF arrested for allegedly choking and punching her and got on OP. Even with OP SF was back in the house and her lawyer sends an email that they are reconciling and very happy together.  We filed an OSC but it was rejected

Exactly one week later BM called the police and CPS and said a sick, elderly cousin molested SD while she was with us.  We are sick over this and our family does not want any part of this or US.  But unfortunately we can't stop CPS.

In court today, we testified to how this was impossible and a complete distraction to the domestic violence. With 2 more days of trial left over a 2 month period the fed-up Judge made a temporary decision.

The children will be brought to us on Friday and will reside with us for the remainder of the trial.  She stated the domestic violence was to big an issue and noone believes the molestation charges.  BM can see the children every other weekend only if we feel comfortable and SF must leave the house.

Great for you and the children!  I had read your prior posts and am so glad that the mess about the molestation went nowhere.  

To openly admit abuse in the household and then just pretend its nothing is beyond confusing.....glad the judge let them all know that its not a game...

Unfortunately the court and the CPS are not one.  CPS is goging on with their investigation and that is what will devastate our family. DH's cousins are livid, their dying father is involved in such disgusting allegations and want nothing more to do with SD and us.  

We were contacted by CPS last night I'm hoping all the documentation I have of BM's previous CPS allegation against DH, her 2 false arrests on DH and the recent arrest of SF along with his criminal background and new order will deter them from speaking to the elderly cousin.  I know it's a long shot but it is the only thing that can salvage our relations and I must hope.  

We are not afraid that CPS will have any findings because it is quite obvious this man is not physically capable of these allegation among other things but the whole idea of being accused and investigative when he is so helplss is disgusting

Call me weird, but I find it puzzling why your DH's cousins would now want nothing to do with your or your SD on 'allegations' made by the BM, NOT you or SD.  You, your DH, nor your SD (at lest intentionally) had NOTHING to do with the allegations made by BM to CPS......why would his cousins be upset with you???  I can understand their anger, but to me, it's slightly misplaced...........if they want to vent, they should aim it at the BM.....and with both barrels, I might add!

I believe they feel they are being sucked into the drama by association.  They are afraid to be around SD, afraid to kiss her hello etc. As that is how this all started. Once accused a pedophile that does not go away even if unfounded, just as once known as a false accuser of molestation people don't forget.

Iwish they would fight BM and take her to court but all we ever here is "we don't want to get in involved" Guess what, you ar einvolved.  Now fight back!
