My boyfriend is having problems obtaining custody of his 3 year old son from Ohio...

The child's mother was arrested and DCF called my boyfriend to come and get the child (paternity was established in Ohio at the time of birth, and child support is up to date).

After six-eight weeks of having his son he was contacted by the court in Ohio. He flew to Ohio with the child and the court demanded that he turn the child over to the maternal grandmother. Sighting that the mother of the child was a minor at the time of birth, therefore her mother has legal custody...

We have no idea what to do, and we were told we have to have an attorney that is FL and Ohio bar.

You're probably going to need an attorney in OH. Meanwhile, you can get legal help on the Socrateaser board:

I assume that both the chld's mother and your bf are now over 18? I don't know what the law says, but common sense says that your bf's rights should supercede the grandmother's rights if he's over 18.

Good luck.
