Can you request an emergency hearing? (Ex Parte).

Can you file the motion yourself? Go to the court house and request a contempt form. I'm sure the clerks will help you.

Children need to see their parents.

Ok first of all, remain CALM. Getting emotional will only hurt you with the police and the courts. Never raise your voice, always use a reasonable tone of voice and body posture.
And for Gods sake, drop the caps,, trust me we do understand how upset you are.

If you cant hire an attrny, you have no choice but to file a motion for contempt EACH time you are denied. Trust me, when a judge sees your motions filling up his docket, he isnt gonna be happy, and he's gonna want to make that stop.

One of the first things you'll hear around here is "Document, document, document!". Having good records is *crucial*. Get yourself either the Parenting Time Tracker (PTT) at: http://www.deltabravo.net/custody/tracker.htm or the OPTIMAL Custody Tracking service at: http://www.parentingtime.net. The PTT is good, but the OPTIMAL service is definitely better.

Hey raywagg! I've been there too-- I know how desperate and powerless you feel. You will get no sympathy from the police or the courts and very little help. These guys advice is right. The best thing you can do right now is try somehow to calm down. You have limited options but you do have options you need to utilize with a clear head and sound judgement. It's a very hard thing to do(I didnt do so well when I was going through what you are right now) but down the road a little ways it will pay off immensely for you & your children if you make sound decisions right now. In my state they have a program called modest means which helps you hire attorneys for discount rates who will take payments and smaller retainers. Check to see if theres anything like that in your state or county. The website listings mentioned above might help. Check the yellow pages also. Or ask the domestic relations court clerk if they have any info on something like that. Also, if there are a few urgent situations you want advice on find a good family or child advocate attorney and just set up a consultation visit to get guidance on which action you should take and how to go about it. That should only cost $50.00 or so. Make sure to ask the right questions. Make a list of what you want to know and prioritize it. Be specific in asking questions & take notes if necessary. Try not to get discouraged or so frustrated you cant deal with the situation. Write things down. When its your time for visitation, write a letter to the other parent over a week ahead of time letting her know you want to see them. If you dont know where to adress it, send it certified letter or have the post office clerk help you, so you can prove you sent it. (ask about sending certified letter at the post office) Make copies of each and every letter you send. In fact, make 3-4 copies each time you send a letter.Mail one to her , one to her attorney, one to the courthouse or judge or whoever you can think of. I filed a "status quo" with my attorney which blocks the other parent from leaving state. Ask around about it. I understand that when a parent is secreting the children from the other parent the judge usually isnt real happy about it. If you can be clear headed and patient you should have some hope and see results. The hardest part is being patient enough to work within the court system and jump through the hoops. Talk to as many people as you can. Other than that it sounds like your doing the right things, something will open up if you keep trying. When it does just be ready for it. Good luck
