Ex-Wife moved 4 hours away w/kids!!

Do I have any rights? First of all I was not aware of the move until it happened and they were settled. My girls were told by my ex not to tell me until they were all moved and it was my weekend. Now she says that Ihave to meet her half way to see my girls which is still a 4 hour drive leaving me no time and alot of expense. Can she do this? Please let meknow thanks.

What does your court order say about NCP and CP moving? If there is anything in there about her moving she must go by that or she is in contempt. She should have told you of the move before she did in the first place. Did she move out of state? I would talk to a lawyer and at least she should be responsible for the transportation expenses.

You can file to have custody reversed or at least file to have her be responsible for ALL travel costs because she moved away from you.
