DH finally gets to host Birthday party--snow storm cancels--vent!

DH wasn't "allowed" to go to my SS 5th birthday party (the one with all the kids from school) last year because ex would be too "uncomfortable.

She "allowed" DH to do the party this year--it's his weekend--( we invited her--she refused)--TODAY! and it's a blizzard still here in MA near Boston.

So no one can come to the party place.

We'll reschedule for two weeks from now, but the kicker is that the ex's mother, sister, and SS cousin had actually agreed to come, called this a.m. and cancelled as she can't get out of the driveway.

She talks to SS on phone and apparantly she CAN drive 50 miles to ex's home later today when SS has to be back at his mother's for a party there!!!!! (according to a 6 YO). Well at least she agreed to come.

MY DH is sooooooo bummed.
