Is it okay for women to wear tasteful, sleeveless tops to court?Specifically, a sleeveless black turtleneck with a long skirt? It's hot here, but we don't want to appear disrespectful of the court.
In case this is relevant, she is the defendant in a divorce case.
TIA

Court is a place where the most important issues of the involved parties' lives are argued over and resolved. Consider your audience and what you want to achieve in court. Dress to impress that audience in the manner that best achieves your goals.

If you want to be seen as poor, dress poor; if you want to be seen as rich, dress rich; if you want to be viewed as sexy, dress sexy; if you want to be viewed as matronly, then dress for it.

If you go overboard in some extreme manner, I can guarantee that the judge will let you know.

Hope this helps.
