I w/ try to be brief. This is about my nephew.

He got sentenced to 5 yrs FEDERAL prison. While he was waiting for his hearing/sentencing he got a DUI. He was in county lock up waiting for a *spot* in fed. Federal marshalls turned him over to a state lockup which is now NOT counting against his federal sentencing time. Lawyer is going to file a notice of illegal imprisonment.?

Is he being flushed down the bureaucratic toilet? I am fearing for this happening since it does so freakin easily.
