What would the constitute as psychological abuse?

Recent thing, that I would consider psychological abuse, is that right in fron of my sd bm said that she wants to have a paternity test because she doesn't think that my fiance is my sd's father.  sd is now five.  sd is now confussed even more then what she is.

This could work as abuse, but how can you prove that the conversation took place? It's your word against the other parent. A five year old child is not a competent witness, and even if she were, by bringing the child into court as a witness, the judge would find that you were being as abusive as the other parent.

So, if you don't have this encounter on tape, or you have a completely disinterested witness, like a plumber, or a police officer, then you're wasting your time with this. Sorry.
