Got a call from child protection today, they would like to inspect our home.  There was a report that there is no fire escape and exposed wires in our home.  BM was the reporting party as we get one call a week from the Sheriff's department.  I am very sick and tired of this weekly event.

DH is CP.

1.  Do I have to let child protection inspect my home?

No, but if your home looks good, then that's just another opportunity to collect evidence showing that the other parent doesn't have her child's best interests in mind.

sunshine, if this is an ongoing thing....have you considered filing against CPS for the name of the person reporting you?  If you can prove that its done out of malice, then the judge may rule that they have to give you the name.  That would be the first step in getting the bm in trouble for her constant allegations.

Of course, its way too easy to report things anonymously...

Hope things go well for you
