BrotherInNeed

My brother is separated from his wife and working on getting a divorce. She has lived a very nice life and has never had a job so the longer this gets drawn out for her the better. They have had papers drawn up and amended several times and are trying to avoid going to court (WAYYY CHEAPER). She keeps coming up with new conditions conveniently. He has told her he just wants to move on from their life but she has no motivation too. He has been the main provider for his family and has not given her any money for herself since last summer. She has been getting money from her parents and spending it all on her shopping and nothing for the kids (no food, clothing, school or club...NOTHING) He puts them to bed every night and spends all his free time with the kids. They are doing great with the whole thing (ages 5 and 7) Their life (him and his kids) has not changed, dad just does not live with them anymore. Last summer, his wife took a hammer to his $25000 harley while the kids were in the house. She said "she just lost it". About a month ago, she "went out to get groceries" while he was home putting the kids to bed. She did not show up till almost midnight. She was completely intoxicated and crashed into the garage, completely smashing up her truck. My brother filed police reports for both incidents. Last week, he talked to her and basically said, let's just move on and get this all over with. She said that she would call the police and tell them that he hit her (COMPLETELY UNTRUE) and he would not see those kids for the couple of months while it was being investigated because she would get a restraining. Now, he basically has to kiss her ass. Is this legal? Can she do this? He has done nothing wrong to her. He basically spoiled and she is now the most selfish person alive. They constantly fought and he realized that he did not want his children growing up thinking this was how a relationship was meant to work. Do his police reports help him?! What can he do!?
