please tell me you're not voting for Kerry (the man who wants to "put the courts back on the side of women" - as if they weren't unbalanced enough already).

Brent

I'm voting on the ABB ticket- "Anybody But Bush". I'd vote for Satan over Bush, but he isn't running.

Do I think Kerry is any good? Nope, he's slime just like Bush, but I just can't take four more years of George Bush Jr.  Hell, I'd vote for Idi Amin over Bush, except he's dead.

Nader =  Loser.
Kerry  =  Loser.
Bush =  Loser.

Of the 3, Bush is the worst by far.

Kitty C.

........None Of The Above on the ballot.  It chaps my hide to vote for the lesser of two evils, and if we had NOTA, and it got the majority vote, they'd have to scrap the candidates and get someone in there whom the public WOULD vote for.

Definitely, Kitty. You got it. I have been preaching this for years.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression!

Brent, I usually agree with most of what you post for us but, once more, this country is faced with some very difficult choices. Please check out the link below. I got it in my email this morning. Sure made me think.

Like I said, I don't think Kerry is necessarily any better than Bush, but at least I know how bad Bush is. He's put this country into the toilet, and his cronies are stealing everything that isn't nailed down. We're living in a Kleptocracy, basically.

I'm sure Kerry is a slimeball, because EVERYONE who gets to the position of running for President is a slimeball by definition. I'm sure I'll be complaining about Kerry in a year if he's elected, so don't think for a moment that I admire him or believe he's a good person. I don't. But he's not Bush, and that's what it comes down to this time. Bush is without a doubt the worst President this country has ever had.

Okay, i guess we can agree to disagree :-)

I just don't understand what makes Brent think Bush is so bad. I'd like some concrete examples of exactly what Bush has done to make him have such a strident stance. I hope to God that Kerry doesn't get elected, if he does, Socialism is sure to follow, and we'll all be dealing with a world government and world court controlloing our lives. I am not at all keen on that. If kerry gets elected, the first thing I'm gonna do is buy some guns before I can't anymore, and anyone that tries to take them away will be dealt with in the severest of terms! Gun control is only the tip of the iceburg... remember what Hitler did (kerry follows the same logic, just hides it under a blanket of so-called concern)!

Brent

>I just don't understand what makes Brent think Bush is so
>bad.

Well, if you have to ask, I suspect that nothing I could say would suffice. I don't mean to be flip, I'm serious. If you don't understand right now why so many people are anti-Bush, what could I possibly say that would convince you or change your mind? We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

>I'd like some concrete examples of exactly what Bush has

Well, almost everything he's done so far. He's uneducated, he's uncaring, he's a completely ineffective President, he blatantly mixes church and State, and so on. He doesn't even know the meaning of "sovernity". Did you see the clip on MSNBC where he tried to explain what "sovernity" meant? Watch that clip and tell me he should be President.

Finally, is there ANYONE that thinks George Jr. would be President if his daddy hadn't been? No one I know can answer "yes" to that question with a straight face- and I bet you can't either.

Clinton had IMPECCABLE public morals, but very questionable private ones.

BUT Bush is the exact opposite, very impeccable private morals but despicable public ones.

Personally, I want my pres. to have impeccable PUBLIC morals.  And if his private morals are questionable, the court of social opinion does quite well in exposing it and publicly condemning it.  BUT every pres. to this date who has had personal skeletons has NEVER allowed that to hinder their ability to run this nation effectively.

It all boils down to the combination of character and ability.  Heck, even the antics of his daughters proves that the apples don't fall from the tree.

But this is ALL JMO...................
