Looking for some opinions on animal cruelty...

I have read things about this as well as watched things on Court TV, many serial killers/rapists started out as young children doing horrible things to animals and as they got older progressed into much worse things.

I would suggest counseling and as soon as possible. Maybe you could also talk to the school about this (if child is of school age) and tell them taht you are extremely concerned about this behavior, they may have some ideas.

going to happen.  Psychomommy has convinced the school that DH is violent, she says he beat her while they were married.  

I'm a drug addict, and both DH and I are raging alcoholics.  Conferences are toward the middle of the month and WE WILL BE THER!!

Hopefully to counter some of these accusations.

Counseling starts saturday morning.  We'll see what happens.
