You need to read all the posts from this OP.........there is MUCH more going on here than meets the eye.  The school enrolled her in AP without even notifying the parents, which I find bizarre.  And the father is a control freak who is causing major undue stress on the girl.  It's not the mother who's doing everything for the daughter, it's the father who wants totally autonomy.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog........if you can't play with it or eat it, pee on it and walk away.......
