Probably yes. You have actual notice, therefore you must appear and defend. Don't try to fight service -- you'll lose.

No jury trial allowed in family court, except in GA Courts, and there,  only on child support issues.

Sure. but, once again, i've never actually seen the allegations lodged against you, so I have no idea what's relevant. If you are looking to modify your parenting agreement, you're not gonna do it at a contempt hearing. At that hearing, all that you will do is defend against the contempt. If you want to raise separate issues, you must do so on separate motion.
