Not from the NY court, you won't. If you raise any issue other than a jurisdictional challenge, then you will have impliedly submitted to Orange County, NY jurisdiction.

They do, huh? That's good. At least we know that they've both passed their civil procedure class...and that they both "seem to think," which is a definite plus for a lawyer...and for a human, as well!!!

Not true. Divorce can be anywhere a party files, if they satisfy the local residency requirement (usually six months). Custody and support matters are subject to other and different requirements.
