I would be very concern about him taking the children out of the U.S.  If he has eny idea your thinking of divorce be very carefull. The U.S. hasnt got the means with middle eastern countries to get your childern back.As far as gathering items to use in court, make the copy machine your new friend! Best of luck!!

NOT ALL narcissists are FEMALE people! Plenty of men do it too! Lets help this gal out!

I realize MOST men on here have narcissistic ex's or complete PBFH's for ex's... I too happen to be an EX..but I am neither of these. Not all of us are.

GO see lawyers... read the info in resources, etc on here (misc. stuff too!)

Get a SPECIALIST in family LAW! If your dh is from another country... DO NOT file before your vacation! He may leave the kids there!

You will have to go to GREAT lengths regarding this issue to keep your children... if you can prove you are the better parent. Keep your ducks in a row.. do your homework. Get a GREAT lawyer!

Good luck!

Since my first post on this topic, I've been called stupid, materialistic and finally narcissistic!  But in order to show my respect to those of you who have tried to help, allow me to give you a quick update.  Did file for divorce before my trip, was secretly able to obtain financial documents that are kept in his offices, hired a forensic accountant.  We are still living together which in a way is good thing, because there is not a day that I feel any remorse or regret about ending this marriage.  Being apart from a person you still care for but know you shouldn't, sometimes creates a disillusion in your mind about the past , confusing you, bringing you doubts and regrets.

take care,

It is good that you are thinking ahead.  And you are right, his having the ability to afford a high price attorney usually makes things much more difficult.  I am not an attorney, so I can't help you there.  But I can provide you with some information that can give you access to the best attorney in your area for a fraction of the cost.  If you would like to take a look at that as an option, please give me a call at 866-859-8459.

In any case, I certainly wish you the best.
