Representing self?

As the common saying on this site goes...I AM NOT A LAWYER.  I AM NOT LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN ANY WAY, IN ANY STATE!  That being said, I'm sure it depends on the state, but in Nebraska, they are allowed to go to court with you, as long as they identify themselves as students.  Where I am getting the most help is in navigating the legal system and translating legal terms.  If you are of average intelligence, you should be able to understand a lot of what is going on with this help.
