a sad experience for dad.

Sherry1

OSS, YSS and SD were severly PAS'd by their mother.  They did come for visits but it was tough because they treated me and their dad badly.  However, they grew up.  Now they are 16, 17, and 19 and they see their mother for what she truly is.  YSS 16 now lives with us and OSS 17 is here for the summer because he wanted away from his mother so bad.  SD, 19yo moved out two months into her senior year.

My youngest son was severely PAS'd by his father and I didn't seen him for 3 years... But I never gave up.  I sent him cards, called him often, etc.  He grew up, and  now we are close.

So many of our stories are similar.

Is there no way to get compensation for emotional duress?

I contacted the Domestic Violence Unit and they took information and said what is happening to us is defined as harrassment under the domestic violence act of 1983. They have me considering making the charge.
