We're all in MN.  After months of trying to work out my parenting time to no avail, my attorney has finally requested a court date to settle the matter.

1. How will my ex be notifed of the court date?

Thank you for your time.

Assuming an action already pending, then service by first class mail, or fax to opposing counsel. If no counsel, then by mail to the other parties address of record in the court file.

If no action pending, then personal service of a summons or order to show cause by the sheriff or private process service.
