Need advice please!

I am a NCP to 2 boys, ages 17 and 13. Four years ago they were removed from my home on the Immediate change of custody orders that were placed during which time my husband and I were falsely accused of drug charges..(which the ex and his wife filed).

Now, since all of this has passed and we were aquitted on those charges...I have have tried desperately and relentlessly to have more access to my childeren.

I pay childsupport and have joint custody with physical custody being with the ex.

 Two years ago, the ex took the oldest to the hospital to get an xray of his shoulder. I found out a week later that his arm had a torn rotator cuff...that same year he got braces and again, I was never notifed about procedure until the boys came home for visit.

I call or I should say attempt to call everyday, but NEVER ever does anyone answer my calls. Then just last week, the 13 year old comes home for visit and now he has braces..I of course was never notified.

Ex is always doing things without consulting with me but yet when the bill comes, I  pay half of medical expenses but I'm never given dates or times of appointment. I try to get the boys to give me that information but it should come from their father..He usually refuses to talk to me about anything.  

My question is can a person be held in contempt of a court order where joint custody is violated by a medical procedure being done without consulting with the other parent???

Both parties live in the same town in Ga.

No. Joint custody means that a parent has 100% decision-making authority while the child is in that parent's care.
