CM is filing for increase in child support based on the fact she had a subsequent child and is no loner working related to child care expense. She has imputed income to herself at an average of her past salary but has added the "hypothetical" day care expense for her new child with her new husband in the child support worksheet. $160 that she expects the non custodial ex husband to pay 65% of?? The child support guidelines do say that if income is imputed to a mother staying home with young children the cost of day care should be deducted from the parents share of "income". That does not mean she can add this expense to the child support of another child correct?? If she is allowed to deduct this from her income why she should she deduct the entire expense? She is not a single mother and does have a husband that would share this expense, correct? Another thing is she left her job when she was 4 months pregnant so child day care was really not the reason she left her job, does this factor in. I know its allot of info, Thanks!
