Judge: No Abortion Notification for NH Parents

 
Over the holidays you probably missed the news that a federal judge in New Hampshire struck down that state's parental notification law. The judge said it was unconstitutional, clearing the way for young girls to undergo abortions without their parent's knowledge. This outrageous ruling is the latest example of an activist judge allowing the politics of abortion to overrule common sense and the will of the people. In every national poll, the American public has overwhelmingly embraced the notion that parents should be told if their minor daughter is having an abortion. The judge's determination that such notification is unconstitutional shows just how lost our judiciary truly is. In public schools around the nation students cannot be given so much as a baby aspirin without a parent's consent. For this judge to say that parents have no business being notified of their daughter's imminent abortion is a miscarriage of justice, and it further endangers the young girls who will now have only a Planned Parenthood 'saleswoman' from which to receive counsel.
