Hello,I have posted on the sister site many times.I have a now five year old daughter.I have custody. Her mother has had and continues to have many problems. We settled out of court seven months ago.My daughter was to live with me and mom got 1,3,5 weekends. For the last seven months BM has had no permanent address. She has lived a few months here and there, until they kick her out.BM was just arrested for fraud.I had enough and took her back to court. She is now on restricted visits at the library with me and my wife as supervisers from 1to4 every Sat.BM also lost her other two children to different fathers. This is temperary until the trial.BM and her mother are very sick people. They continue to harass me and my family. They go into court saying that we are terrible people. They try to scare and coach my daughter against me and my wife and mother.Don't go by your dad he's a bad man and hurts people ect. They have her so scared and intimadated that she says what they want.I think they are tape recording her for court. They wisper in her ears.If you say you want to go to mommys I will give you a pize. They don't have the time to hurt her as much as before but the damage is being done. How do I counter this? Any advise on going to trial? BM mother works for CPS.She knows how to slant the outcome on things.I live in NY   Thanks  Scoot

I am not a lawyer, but a concerned step mother.  We feel that the same is going on with my SD.  She is supoose to be coming for summer vacation, cross your fingers, and we are planning to take her to talk to a child phsycolgist.  We do not have custody of her, though that is what we are in the middle of buliding a case for.  My husband and I do not have childern of our own, so she is all we have right now, and i am not saying that that will ever change weather we have our own or not, she is number one to us both and she always will be.  Just make sure that you have EVERYTHING documented and try to get her to talk to a professional, in the long run, the childern will see the difference between you and what you have done for her sake and what the others have done to her.  Keep up the good work, there should be more fathers out there like you and my husband.

Thanks Mandi. I have EveryThing documented. The court order reads that BM be notified of all Dr. apointments. BM shows up intimadateds littleone,I pay the bill, and littleone tells nothing and it goes on.My wife and I didn't have any children when this all started.I now have a 4 month old daughter. I too was a non custodial father.I have custody now.BM had visitation. The things that have been done to my daughter, wife and my self are sickening. Some things are so bizare they are hard to believe. All I can say is be prepared for the fight of your life!

Good Luck Scoot

Yeah, it also says in our agreement that my husband is to be notified as well and hell, we have no idea who her DR is or anything.  My husband is in the Navy, so you know we have good insurance, but does the BM use it, NO..and then she bitches about having to pay the child's DR bills, but my usband told her that  that is not his fault because he provides the insurance and it is her own fault that she does not use it.  I am already prepared for this, one because of what the BM has put this entire family through already, it just makes me even more ready for her to suffer just as much as we have.  And yes, it is sickening what they put the other parent through.  Thanks for the luck, i know we will need it.
