  Your custody related info and links have always been on the mark. The recently posted FERPA info helped in bypassing a snitty (male) principal who managed to withold my child's school records and related information for over a year.

The superintendent's reply this am:


I'm sorry for the delay in responding to your e-mail. We have been out for the holidays and just got back today. Thank you for sharing your concerns in trying to get information on your daughter. You are correct. Unless the
divorce decree specifically denies you access to her educational records,
you are entitled to them as a parent. I have contacted the campus
administrator and will work through him to address all your concerns.

Lol, don't you love it when those stuffy school people have to admit you're right and they're wrong, and then they have to give you what you want? :)

Glad the links helped. The "Report Card" letter has a 100% successful track record as far as I know because (and this is the part they hate) it's the law- they have no choice in the matter.
