I went to the Dr on Thurs, for my "annual" and was hit with some alarming news... I am being referred to a local cancer center due to some symptoms I am having...

I am 32, and *in my opinion* TOO young for what is going on.... this is NOT a battle I am ready to fight at this point in my life.

I have a biopsy scheduled on thursday... PLEASE keep me in your thoughts !!

Oh, and my neice, Cayla (the possible leukemia) she got an "all clear" so, she does NOT have it!!  YEAH!!!!!

Been praying really hard for ya since you shared this....was just thinking about making a public prayer request for ya on here.
I'll say this again-
You have been through so much in the last year or so---you are strong, wise and have been a good friend and helper to many on here. You will face this, whatever "this" may be and you will get through this.

You haven't gotten a break in a while, have you???  I'm sorry for you  and I hope that you also get the "all clear"...It could be a false alarm and nothing to worry about.

I pray that you and your family find some peace...you certainly need it after these past few months...I'm glad to hear about Cayla though...Just think positive thoughts (I know that's hard to do)...and we will all be praying for you and definitely keeping you in our thoughts.

it just never ends for you, does it?

I will definitely keep you in my prayers.

I miscarried in August, 9 weeks along...as part of the follow up pap, they discovered cancer.  I had 3 operations to remove it and they finally got it all.  I didn't have to have chemo.  If what you have is cervical cancer, it's often isolated and can be removed and that would be the end of treatment.

Sending you good thoughts and wishes and hope that everything turns out OK.  Keep us advised.

actually, they are thinking breast cancer....

Thank you for your response... I REALLY appreciate it!!

As I told you in chat.........

"Lord please let Ambers breasts be really fine!!!"  ;)

Amber, I've been praying for you and your family and Cayla ever since you first posted about all your recent problems.  I'm so happy to hear that Cayla is going to be okay...now I'll send extra prayers to YOU!!!

Hang in there, and try not to worry too much before the biopsy.  I had a similar scare too when I was 27, and it turned out to be just a fluid filled cyst.  That was MANY years ago, and I'm fine.  No matter what happens, you will be fine too!!

Just thought I would let you know... Tomorrow (Wed) and Thursday, I have tests..... ugh, I will probably be in chat late, LOL will be a sleepless night for me....

For years and years they told me,
> Be careful of your breasts.
> Don't ever squeeze or bruise them.
> And give them monthly tests.
>
> So I heeded all their warnings,
> And protected them by law.
> Guarded them very carefully,
> And I always wore my bra.
>
> After 30 years of astute care,
> My gyno, Dr. Pruitt,
> Said I should get a Mammogram
> "O.K," I said, "let's do it."
>
> "Stand up here real close" she said,
> (She got my boob in line),
> "And tell me when it hurts," she said,
> "Ah yes! Right there, that's fine."
>
> She stepped upon a pedal,
> I could not believe my eyes!
> A plastic plate came slamming down,
> My hooter's in a vise!
>
> My skin was stretched and mangled,
> From underneath my chin.
> > My poor boob was being squashed,
> To Swedish Pancake thin.
>
> Excruciating pain I felt,
> Within it's vise-like grip.
> A prisoner in this vicious thing,
> My poor defenseless tit!
>
> "Take a deep breath" she said to me,
> Who does she think she's kidding?!?
> My chest is mashed in her machine,
> And woozy I am getting.
>
> "There, that's good," I heard her say,
> (The room was slowly swaying.)
> "Now, let's have a go at the other one."
> Have mercy, I was praying.
>
> It squeezed me from both up and down,
> It squeezed me from both sides.
> I'll bet SHE'S never had this done,
> To HER tender little hide.
>
> Next time that they make me do this,
> I will request a blindfold.
> I have no wish to see again,
> My knockers getting steam rolled.
>
> If I had no problem when I came in,
> I surely have one now.
> If there had been a cyst in there,
> It would have gone "ker-pow!"
>
> This machine was created by a man,
> Of this, I have no doubt.
> I'd like to stick his balls in there,
> And see how THEY come out!
>
>
> Mail this to 13 other females. :o) Now, don't break the chain!  One
> female broke the chain, her plumbing became so bad, she now has an
> outhouse!
> OK gals, now that you have had your laugh, remember... Breast
> Cancer Awareness... Go have those boobs checked out and stay
> healthy!  Pass
> the message on to your mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, cousins,
> friends -- and even your enemies -- because the WORST enemy is Breast
> Cancer!
