ok so last summer an order to show cause was added to our case from her 1st lawyer that she refused to pay.

How can I see what was the outcome of this earing?
there is nothing else in our case, ....

wendl

it is usually public record, you should be able to go to the court house and review the file if you know the case # in question.

Even you you don't know the case # you can go to the courthouse and review the file.  Just ask the clerk for file regarding X party vs. Y party. They'll be able to find it that way.

yep, that's what I did yesterday, thanks

wendl

hmmmm what did the papers say????

it's her first attorney (she is on the 4th one) that is sueing her and asking for an order to show cause because she hasn't been paid :)

wendl

Well if youre x is working her attorney will probably file a writ of garnsihment and garnsih her wages for those atty fees.
