Hi:

My friend is in a custody battle and not fairing well.  The mother removed the child from the state w/o his consent at 6months old.  He attained a lawyer who helped him get visiting rights after several months.  However, as hearings go on, the court is leaning more towards mother.  The mother has violated almost every visiting order, and we have a long line of paperwork proving all of her antics.  Yet the court changes my friends visitation rights from every week to every other weekend.  EVEN WITH ALL THE PROOF STACKED AGAINST HER!!  They look as if they want to give full physical custody to mother.

How can my friend turn the situation aroud-he wants full or at least joint physical custody.  She disagrees to everything and seems to get her way.  He have a final custody hearing in August.

 Should he get another lawyer? DOES ANYONE KNOW AN AGRESSIVE LAWYER IN NYC WHO HAS WON BATTLES FOR FATHERS?  Please help.

Read the post below this one, this attorney WON custody for a FATHER because the birthmother exhibited PAS as well as denied visitations.

Hi:

I guess I have been under a rock...what is PAS?  Also I didn't see another post regarding this attorney.  How do you know of her?  From another posting?  Money is getting low-need to make sure she is in it to win.  Thanks so much for any help.

PAS=Parental alienation syndrome.
