evil woman

My brother married a non-citizen this past March.  Very long story, but it turns out she is a professional marriage swindler - has been married 4 times (lied on marriage application)  and bilked men out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.   Marriages were in Europe, along with money, which is in a trust.  The problem is she had a  baby in October and patenity tests show he is the father.  She has a 17-yr-old daughter who lies for her.  The daughter dropped out of high school, has been seen associating with prostitutes, has many tatooes and piercings, but the judge says none of this matters.  The wife shows all the signs of a sociopath - brothers lawyer says she has never seen a more evil person in 25 years of  practice.
She is such an accomplished liar it is hard to prove the bad things she does.  Of course she is making accusations against him which are outrageous.

Question - can he order a psychiatric evaluation?  If so, would a diagnosis of sociopath show she is an  unfit mother so he could get full custody?  Any idea what it would cost?
Thank yo so much.

however, I cannot help but post a comment about something you wrote.  Paraphrased "her 17 yo daughter has many tattoos and piercings..." - while I personally find that sort of thing not very agreeable, I have an adult son who not only has both of those but who IS a body piercer by profession.  He is an upstanding citizen, compassionate, kind and a more gentle and law abiding soul you will not find.

To tacitly imply that by virtue of being a metaled, muraled marvel one is "a bad influence" is completely and utterly wrong, aside from the fact the courts really don't care about her 17 yo daughter as she is not the issue.  Judge others by insides, not outsides ... and please do not paint all with one brush.

Sorry - it's the whole package - tattoed, pierced  17-yr-old PROSTITUTE is what gets me!

Being a painted and pierced person myself, I have to ask you "why" tats and body piercings are such an issue?

The Judge is right...body art doesn't matter.

kiddosmom

I do not think that is the issue actually, they are asking about the child,, sounds like this person is shocked by the new age stuff thats all.

I myself am pierced and have tattoo's.

doood

ahem... as a male prostitute i must ask, just what is bad about that?

Davy

Not Soc and not an attorney.

I noticed you disable your profile ... try not be discouraged ... the child is the all important matter !!

I believe a 'psycho evaluation' is commonly ordered and I suspect the cost / value / effectiveness will vary depending on the jurisdiction.  I have no ball park figure on the costs.

You may get more responses if you re-post on the father issues or custody board.

Hope you see this post !!!

Don't let them discourage you!!!  I am Katie, your friend from chat, and there is ALOT more to this story!!  Sorry they just focused on the dtr end of it, as that really has nothing to do with it!!!

Your brother has a terrible situation.  I hope you found an attorney that is very aggressive, etc.

I believe the fact that the daughter is a prostitute is the BIG issue here, regardless of her outer looks.

So people, lets help this woman and her brother!   Quit being so defensive, and help a baby out of a terrible mess!  Good Lord, this isn't 4th grade here!  "Bobby called me a name....whaaaaa!!!"

Thank you for your response - you were the first person that hasn't jumped all over me on the tattoo comments.  I will definitely repost.

Hi Katie, thank you so much. I was very depressed that people focused on the tattoo thing.  We did find one of the daughter's clients, but he will not testify because a) he is a "celebrity" in the community and (b) he did not know she was a minor.
Note:  I am reposting in the father chatroom - maybe people will be more helpful there.
Bless you.
