Hi, Soc!
Quick question: Gm recommended Psych eval for SD. This eval will take place next Monday, March 15th. Bm and DH were ordered to split the costs of the eval. Bm has already said that she refuses to pay her half.

1) What are our recourses?

2) Will it look bad if DH doesn't pay Bm's half if she refuses to pay it?

3) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Write letter to other parent notifying that if she goes ahead with her verbal assertion that she will not provide payment for one half of the bill upon request of the evaluator, that you will pay the entire bill and then immediately file a motion for a contempt order and for sanctions against her.

What makes you think that the evaluator will work for half price, until you collect the other half in court? More than likely, the evaluator will say, "Sowwy pardner. Cash in advance."
