vary afraid please help

My DH had a support order in WA state, he has been current on that order.  We Live in OR

 At the begining of the month we where informed by phone that his WA case was transferred to CA,  mother applied for Welfare in CA.
We finally spoke with CA, last week, she informed us that they would be raising the support and that it would be back dated to Jan 04.
 They havent recieved the papers from WA yet so they would get back to us.
This will make us in arears by the time they get around to decideing how much they are going to charge us for her Walfare, and back date it.
  We have no money is unemplyment ends this week I am the only one working.
  We have 2 children living in the home (mine)  DH also has a daughter we pay support for and large travell expenses.

1)Do I need to take DH's name off our bank account?

2)What about our car?

3)What else do we need to do to protect ourselves?

1.What paperwork exactly have you received from CA and what paperwork have you sent them? List everything.

2. What paperwork from WA?

3. What State made the original (the very first one) child support order against you?

4. Did you move to OR from WA after the custodial parent filed for child support in WA?
