What does this say about the relative worth of boys and girls in today's society? A woman abandoned her 8-year-old son (but not her 11-year-old daughter) at Disneyland, taking off in the middle of a family trip and heading into the sunset.

Woman whose child found in Disneyland arrested

ANAHEIM, Calif. A woman whose 8-year-old son was found wandering alone at Disneyland last month has been arrested.

Police had been looking for 38-year-old Robyn Freeman since July 15th, when she went missing after spending the day at the amusement park with her two children. A Disney security guard found 8-year-old Aaron alone.

Freeman and her 11-year-old daughter were spotted by someone who had seen a photo of them on a news broadcast and called authorities.

Police say she was questioned for several hours, but could not explain why she had left her son alone.

The boy had been living with relatives.
