MN father needs help

I am desperate for any advice or help with my custody and family court issues. My ex-wife and I just seperated and now she has a no contact order and is threatening to not let me see my kids if I dont do everything she wants. Earlier this year she was committed to a pych ward by a judges order for 30 days because of her Hypo manic disorder and drug and alcohol addiction. I am so scared for my children because she is using again but I have never dealt with the whole "court thing". I was still in shock when I went to court for the restraining order and I guess I just agreed to what ever she wanted . I didnt know I had a choice or even a right to disagree. I feel so ripped off !
I dont even know what I can do if anything. My ex calls me night and day harrassing and threatening me using my innocent kids for her sick games.

Get an attorney immediately.  And make sure it's a good one, there are lots of info on this site about getting one...  It will cost some money now, but you really can't afford not to do it...

It sounds as if you agreed to an Order for Protection with no findings that abuse occurred. That is good. That means, it should have little to no impact on custody.

You must file for divorce or legal separation and seek an immediate temporary hearing transferring custody to you.  The longer you delay, the weaker your chances become.
